Dr. Paul Mayer
Paul Mayer, MD, has over 20 years of medical experience with a focus on emergency medicine. He retired from the U.S. Army after 26 years of honorable service at postings around the world.
Dr. Mayer is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He has excelled in positions as teaching faculty at large urban Level I trauma centers, rural, suburban, austere, international, and concierge clinical environments.
Dr. Mayer graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and then earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University, in Bethesda, MD. He completed a transitional internship at Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, GA, the three-year emergency medicine residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Education Consortium in Fort Sam Houston, Texas and completed fellowship training in Emergency Medical Services and Medical Disaster Management at the University of Texas, Southwest Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
